Hi not sure where to send questions but I was reading a different series when a question for this series occured to me. Air Thier Feathered Serpents like Coatl in this fantasy world and if so are they smart/sentient like Dragons, Sea Serpents, and Hydras? How many intelligent beast exist? I can guess all the God beast kids are but when are we going to get a chance to see a turtle, Phoenix, or Tiger.

There are feathered serpents (and they're intelligent), but I wouldn't refer to them as coatl, since that has an Aztec-specific meaning.
You'll likely see some feathered serpents further down the line, but I'm not 100% sure when yet.
I haven't counted the number of intelligent species, but in the hundreds, since there are multiple separate species native to each dominion (e.g. multiple types of elementals, each of which I'd consider a separate species).
There's something phoenix-related in Diamantine and you'll see more phoenix-related stuff in Soulbrand (as well as future books).
I won't say anything more about turtles or tigers yet - hopefully someday.

Hi Andrew I hope you're having a good day :D! so I have a few questions about the mesmer and summoner attunements. First of all will the power of your spells as a summoner depend on your contracted creature? Is the effect of forgetting a mesmer like a guardian with a shroud, its passive but you can strengthen the effect or is it more like a active spell? Could a mesmer use the effect on a spell???
