Hello! I recently fell in love with cozy mysteries. I listened to the the entire Royal Spyness series from start to finish. They were wonderful, I felt that I knew the characters as well as friends. Last week I started on the Constable Evans series and today I will start book 4. Just wondering why the series ended after book ten. Do most series end after ten books? Thanks!

Series go on as long as the author and publisher want to continue them. In this case the publisher wasn’t interested in continuing My current series have 15 and 17 books so far and are still going strong!

Rhys, excellent answer, but I believe, not to her point. You told Mariia when you noticed you were up there with the big ones - and that you always thought you should write. But she was asking for when the lightning struck you. How you came up with your first ever published piece, how you discovered that anybody WOULD publish anything you wrote?
