Dear Clare, I'm researching Blyton's 1930s/40s works as part of a comparison of the treatment of 'blackness' in French & British children's lit. I saw your review of 'A Story Party at GH' (1949 edn.) Could I trouble you to kindly look up the pagination of 'A Little Black Doll'? And btw, did you know that an even less PC version appeared in 1937 before pub. in the 1944 'Jolly Story Book'?
