First, I want to say I have been a fan since I read the first Muirwood books. As a self-published author first, did you discover any disadvantages or drawbacks in negotiating your contract with 47 North? For example: Did they require you to pull all your books-on-demand and e-books for a certain amount of time prior to publishing those same titles under their banner? Very curious as to how that would work. Thank you.

There were no disadvantages at all. In fact, they allowed me to keep self-published my version of the Muirwood trilogy up until the month they re-branded and re-launched them and then they sold way more copies than I ever did! It was a win-win. Since I didn't have an agent (and still don't), I did hire an attorney to help me understand the contract terms before making the agreement. I continue to self-publish but most of my work still comes through A-Pub.

Whispers of mirrowen - Book 3. Why will the Dyrad Born even surrender themselves to the Arch Rike? I mean he may have closed the portal of mortals but the portals of druid is their trees themselves then why will they believe to the lies of arch rike? Why did the sentinants wife even kiss the arch rike and bond with him when he has killed her daughter?

Just been reading through immortal words and felt the butterfly tree sounded very familiar, having gone back through your other works as i know many are connected. Found the matching scene in dryad born. I dont know if it will be a spoiler for the end of immortal words as have not finished yet but does this scene tie directly to the quiet kishions past, and they are the same person?
