Hey Cornelia! Do you have any tips on how to stop overthinking when wanting to write a book? I have a lot of ideas and stories that I desperately want to tell but I'm always so scared of "screwing up" or not doing it any justice and therefore regretting it later on. I keep thinking so much into it all that I just sit on my notes that keep piling up and I don't know how to actually start writing :/

just write, Sasha. The first draft is always bad. The second is usually too. when you start weaving a flying carpet you need passion, patience and the will to play - and to fail!

What inspires you to keep writing? I love writing and hope to become a writer of fantasy someday. But what really draws me in, is why? Why do you do it? I do it because it pulls me in and lets me put whatever I want onto paper. It makes me feel... magical, in a way. But does every writer feel that magic while writing, or is that just me? Thank you!

Hello again. I've found more questions) 3. Fenoglio said Shadow is the most feared creature in Inkworld, why Capricorn hadn't taken Adderhead's place? Or smth like this? 4. When Darius read in captivity, what disappeared? Those things, were they also disfigured?
I'm rereading Inkheart, and yes, this time it seems thicker))) Sorry for missing gaps)
And I can't rid of that thought about Fenoglio... Strange thought...

Hi Cornelia! I am a huge fan of your books and I am also an aspiring author. I was hoping you might have some advice for me about sticking to writing. How many words would you recommend trying to write in a day? I also have so many ideas, but I jump around and never finish. I have finally chosen one to see through first, but now I am having trouble finishing my plot and just writing in general. Any advice?
