Mariia Manko
Mariia Manko asked Rhys Bowen:

Rhys, when did you realize yourself as a writer? After writing first book, publishing , success or …? You know this feeling inside «I am truly a writer»

Rhys Bowen Having written all my life it was a natural part of who I am. But I think it first struck me when my first play was broadcast on the BBC when I was twenty two. Wow. I wrote those words that other people are saying! It was a heady feeling. And years later, when my first mystery came out and I went into one of the big chain stores and there on the shelf was Rhys Bowen, Agatha Christie, Mary Higgins Clark.. all next to each other. To think I belonged with those ladies was a fantastic feeling!
