Having written all my life it was a natural part of who I am. But I think it first struck me when my first play was broadcast on the BBC when I was twenty two. Wow. I wrote those words that other people are saying! It was a heady feeling. And years later, when my first mystery came out and I went into one of the big chain stores and there on the shelf was Rhys Bowen, Agatha Christie, Mary Higgins Clark.. all next to each other. To think I belonged with those ladies was a fantastic feeling!

Hey i was wondering if you could answer a question for me, I’ve been trying to find out what the difference is between a light novel and “serious literature.” Anyway I was thinking like is something like psycho considered a light novel or what about like short stories from Charles Beaumont or is that considered serious literature?

Is it appropriate for a Molly Murphy Mysteries fan to come to one of your upcoming book signings for Love and Death Among the Cheetas? I am almost done with the Molly Murphy series & plan to start the Royal Spyness series before this event, but I seriously doubt I'll love it nearly as much as Molly & would love to bring Murphy's Law to be signed.
