What are the kind of story ideas that haunt you the most, begging to be written?

It’s usually ones where I’ll be in the shower or walking or laying in bed, and I’ll be running through all these scenes that make me drop everything and write down snippets. They truly take over my brain and I become so obsessed that I just have to sit down and write it. Story ideas without that sort of spark usually just end up being one liners in my Notes app.

Blood Like Magic is one of my favorite books that I have read this year. It's such a beautifully written and intricate story. How long did you have this story and these characters in your head before you started to write? Or perhaps, it evolved as you were writing? Either way, it's amazing and I am so looking forward to the sequel!! xx
