Jade Wright “Pygmalion” is an ancient myth (poem) regarding Greek Mythology, written by the Roman poet Ovid that was published in 8 A.D. It is also a part of Ovid’s book - “Metamorphose” Its modern interpretation took place in Bernard’s Shaw’s play “Pygmalion” on the 16th of October 1913.
Christine Pygmalion was a figure in Greek mythology! He carved a statue of a woman which was later brought to life by Aphrodite.
