Joseph Delaney I wrote what I wrote and thought that the ‘Spook’s Order’ was a stupid idea and the movie people only called them ‘knights’ to appeal to the USA audience, some of whom like that kind of title. Spooks work in isolation and that was one thing that put Tom off the job – he thought he would be lonely.
The Pendle witches will have tried to bring the Fiend down to Earth many times over the ages but those are different stories. History tends to repeat itself! I would like to write the background story of Mam in Greece and I may well do that one day. I have already written a few experimental chapters.
