Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marky Watson Although GIRL is a work of fiction (and I've definitely never tried to kill anybody), many of the events and places in the book are inspired by my own experiences in the 1980s. There was also a news item I saw once that gave me the idea for a key plot point, but to say more would be a major spoiler. 🤫
