David McDuff, who has translated several works by Dostoevsky, is known for a translation style even more literal than Pevear and Volokhonsky. If you want to know "accurately" what the original Russian said, I guess that makes his 1991 translation of Crime and Punishment a good choice. Meanwhile, there seem to be a lot of articles praising the 2014 Oliver Ready translation for its representation of characters' voices and transmission of the author's humor.
