I don't really get writer's block these days, but that's because I have deadlines and I have to get the work done. I think writer's block is quite often procrastination in action. Ask yourself why you're procrastinating. Maybe you don't know where the book should go, or maybe you went in the wrong direction and you know it deep inside. Listen to that inner voice. Sometimes it knows far more than we do. I've learned to listen to it far sooner now that I have to meet deadlines!
