I know there is a sequel, but, if I only want to read this one does it wrap up well?

Novel Notices I think you could read the first one and be completely fine.

Alex I suggest to ead the sequel, because the epilogue ends with a HUGE cliffhanger, and a plot twist

Ariana i recommend reading the sequel too because there is a big cliffhanger and the second book pretty much explains it better
