In my opinion, the book is good. I found it super easy to read and I enjoyed the plot. I think it gets better as you read because you get to know the characters and the world they live in better. It's not my favorite book, but this is also not my favorite genre. It is an enemies to lovers book, but (in my opinion) the enemies part is pretty one-sided and Persephone's attraction to Hades is focused on much more than her dislike of him. Hope that helps!

It's a very good book. The writing flows very well and the story is very immersive, I did not want to put it down. I love the Hades x Persephone myth, so I was very interested in a modern take on the story. The characters were realistic in the sense that their decisions and actions tracked with their character growth throughout the book. Also, I always enjoy spice in a book, and this book delivered in the best way. The love scenes were not contrived and seemed realistic; the characters didn't just jump in for no reason, there is sexual tension and ups and downs that I really liked. I wouldn't call it a STRONG enemies to lovers book because the enemies part isn't "real", but the characters do go from having negative feelings to positive feelings, with all sorts of ups and downs between. If you like these sorts of things, I'd highly recommend this book.

I personally liked this book. But based on other reviews I've read the reason they didn't like it was because
1. Didn't really like the character's personality
2. Didn't like how different it was to the actual story
3. Didn't like the writing style
4. Got boring in some parts.
Also to answer your second question, it's a enemies to lovers book but I wouldn't consider it "strong".

I found that when I read the book it started off strongly. the tension was pretty good and so was the writing. But the further you read into the book the more boring it got, it just got sort of dull. it does represent enemies to lovers, but not very well. if your looking for enemies to lovers I would choose something else.

I think it's a good bood, but in some parts it needs better editing. Not terrible stuff, but i stumbled a few times.
