I am so hoping to read more about DI Jackman. Will you be doing more of his Series? I have read all the Jackman and Galena and Ballard series. I love them. No one writes like you. The characters are so alive. Thanks for all your hard work. I really want to come visit and see the Fens for myself some day!!

Joy Ellis Hi Deborah, what a great message to receive! I'm so pleased that you are enjoying the books. Yes, there will be more. I have already completed another Jackman and another Matt Ballard and am now working on the next Nikki Galena. The Jackman will go to Audible first, like all the others, as an exclusive before being released as a book. I'm wondering if we should buy a big old bus and do Jackman and Nikki's Mystery Tours of the Fens! Stay safe, Joy x

The problem is my wife only reads book and does not like reading ebooks . She has read one of your book and liked it very much. Having read the Nikki Galena series, the Matt Ballard series and the DI Jackman books I have just finished 'An Aura of Mystery' which is totally different. Is Fenchester based on an actual town/city? Are there any more Nikki Galena books in the pipeline? I was born in Grantham during the war and at the age of 80 I now live in Surrey - actually not too far from Compton Peter Hardcastle
