why do people hate Aspen so much?? Genuine question! I loved him! I don't think he and America are right for each other because they're too similar, but I found he was a valid, loveable character! Everyone from tik tok is saying that he's a 'pick me' boy but i don't see it! the whole time, he was respectful of america when she said she needed time to figure out what she wanted.

Dani I kinda loved him too, he’s a nice person and everything but personally what I didn’t like much from him is how he didn’t even think of the consequenc…moreI kinda loved him too, he’s a nice person and everything but personally what I didn’t like much from him is how he didn’t even think of the consequences there could be when he and America were seeing each other secretly, in the second book (I think). Like- Yes, he’s respectful with America’s decision and never forced her to do something or tried to make her change her mind, BUT if he knew that America was already catching feelings for Maxon, it was wrong that he still invited her to those kind of “secret dates” when he first got in the palace. Of course not only his mistake, it’s America’s fault too. But if we don’t talk about his history with America, he’s actually very nice and kinda sweet :))(less)
