asked:
The book didn't say much if at all, how the other world religions were affected by On The Nature of Things. Did they abhor it as much as the Catholic Church, threatening the very core of their belief? Who were the other non-European movers who were changed by this or who may have arrived at the same conclusion?

The book is about the recovery of De rarum natura and its gradual and hotly contested insertion into the culture of Western Europe. You ask a good question, but had Greenblatt chosen to answer you his book would have ballooned to encyclopedic size.
