Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Logan Beckwith I've been wanting to write a book about magic returning to the world for several years now. I think it came to me in a dream or in the shower as ideas do for everyone else.

Somehow, I settled on a post-apocalyptic world where magic had to nearly wipe humans out to return to the world and went from there. After that, it was simple figuring out how John would fit into that world and what his purpose was.
