So this is probably the longest (almost a month) I've taken on a book and I'm only 180 pages in. Does it start to pick up? Should I consider this a loss? Please convince me why I should keep going or why I should stop. Thanks!

But agree with many ...... after 75-100 pages and you are not interested ..... go on to another book. There are too many out there that will catch you for sure. (less)
