I've never read anything as irritating as this. I saw review of this book in a magazine and the reviewer said "..a chilling, interesting read." It got 4 stars. I think they were paid because I found everything from the main character to the ending of the book annoying. Why did Alison just disbelieve when Caroline said she was raped? Why did she say she felt 'guilty' for loving Carl and Patrick t the same time? Ugh
