Where do you get ideas for the different men in your books (Ford, Jax,Ty)? When I try to write the men main characters they all sound alike. Do you get your ideas from television, magazines, celebrities, ect?

Jill Shalvis I get my ideas from everywhere: television, movies, magazines, books... I try to give them each a different voice but it's not easy!

Read your bear story....it started with you thinking it was Mya the lab. Does Mya just get to roam? I'd be so afraid a bear would get my dog when I wasn't watching or even when I was watching because the bear would be something mine dogs would want to go investigate.

I love your books. I have so thoroughly enjoyed all of the Lucky Harbor books. Did you start out to write 12 or did that just kind of happened? I stayed up all night to finish One in Million, and I thought you did a nice job of making a few details come full circle and I love how you put little tidbits of your real life in them.
