I picked up April's edition of "Book Page" and lo and behold who was being interviewed ? You! I was excited to read about the upcoming Lady Darby. Then got an email stating that the new book was forthcoming and there would also be a new Verity Kent book. Do you write both storylines in tandem? Or are they written where one comes out before the other?

Anna Lee Huber Thanks, Kathy! I basically write one book from each series each year, though I don't write their first drafts simultaneously. I'm usually writing one book, working through copyedits, etc. on another book, and perhaps researching a third. So I'm never focused on just one project at a time, but several projects at different stages. A WICKED CONCEIT, Lady Darby 9, releases 4/6 and MURDER MOST FAIR, Verity Kent 5, releases 8/31. Those releases are usually about 6 months apart, but the dates the publisher selected just happened to fall closer together this year. :)
