I am curious how long after you release a book in German does it take to translate it? Just so I can estimate how long I have to wait for new releases. :) I love your books, especially The Thief Lord

Cornelia Funke I do by now write in both English and German, Sara. So sometimes you get the book earlier than my German readers. That happened with Pan's Labyrinth and it will happen again with The Aurelia Curse, my 3rd Dragonrider adventure:) The Reckless and Inkworld books I write in German, so the translation usually pushes the English publication date to half a year later. Sometimes it is even a year as publishers prefer autumn publications
