Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Terry Helwig I have walked the shoreline of a particular barrier island for the better part of forty years. One day, I noted how the tides, pounding surf, and tropical storms had shifted the shoreline. Nature, my greatest teacher, had been both gentle and fierce. The tides and storms of life are no less impactful; they, too, shift the shoreline of who we are. If we could meet our younger self, pausing along life’s shore, what might we say? What comforting wisdom could we impart about the shifting sands ahead?
