Have you read S.T. Joshi's combined/revised bio of Lovecraft? I Am Providence - The Life and Times of H. P. Lovecraft by S. T. Joshi

Dave Higgins I haven't. I read an account of his life many years ago and I've read several books that put him as a character in his own creation that do include events from his actual life.

It's on the list of books I'd like to read, but so are a great many others so potentially it will be a while until it makes it to the top of my buy list.
