But think Klara's notice of it shows that, even as her strength waned, she was still very observant, just as she was when she noticed Josie's limp so many years ago, and that she remembered how her manager used to walk, etc. I gathered that Klara's strength was waning b/c (1) she was in the Yard and (2) her memories would occasionally combine (although she was able to separate them when she focused) and (3) she had changed in that she wanted to just be alone with her thoughts rather than socialize with the other AF's who had chosen to be together in the Yard.(less)
