Hi! I was just re-reading A Spoonful Of Murder and I was wondering if we’ll ever see Ping or Ah Lan again in a future book?

Robin Stevens Great question! Ping was briefly in a draft of Death Sets Sail until I realised I couldn't do justice to her as a character in the space I had, so I decided it was best if I took her out. I would really love to feature both Ping and Ah Lan in the Ministry of Unladylike Activity series - I think that seeing what happens to them during WW2 would be really interesting - but I have to wait and see if that series will go up to December 1941 and the Japanese invasion of Hong Kong. The first book takes place in autumn 1940, so nothing is certain yet!
