Do you have any top tips for aspiring authors? Your books are one of my favourite series of all time and I really want to be able to write like you no give my readers the same excitement!

Hi Robin (great name!), all authors work differently, which is really important to remember - a lot of learning to write is learning what your unique way of telling stories is. Really the only tips that work for everyone are 1. read a lot, in all different genres, to help you see how other authors write, and decide if you want to write like them or not, and 2. write a lot, anything that you enjoy, not worrying about grammar or spelling but about telling a great story! If you're having fun, then your readers will too. Good luck!!

So like, I am loving your Murder Most Unladylike series! I am new to your books, so I don’t know that much, and I have only read three of them in a random order cos they’re from the library (Death sets sail, a spoonful of murder, top marks for murder). Anyway I wanted to say, can you give any advice for me on writing stories? I want to be an author when I’m older and I write stories a lot.
