This book has been shelved as 'dark academia" - does anyone know why 100 people think this book would be considered dark academia? I'm reading it anyway, but if it works for the Popsugar challenge that would be great.

Nora I think it's mostly because all the parts of the story that take place in the past, as people often times connect dark academia to classic and antique things and scenery.
