Other than the National Trust properties in your G & R series, are your locations based on real places? Like Fortnums, or The Dog or Carnal Motel that Ned and Betty run? You said you have lived all over the place and I was curious if you made a majority of those locals up or if you actually saw these places and made up new names.

Well, Fortnum's is based on a bookstore that is no longer on Broadway in Denver that was called Ichabod's. The Dog is totally made up and so is Carnal Motel. I'm trying to think if I based anything fictional mostly on something real and I'm sure I have dozens of times (or straight up put action in a real place which happens A LOT). But I'm now drawing a blank! So it goes three ways, totally fictional, sometimes inspired by something and sometimes flat-out real!

Hey Kristen..! I am an aspiring writer... and I love your writing style.. I love how you freelance between genres without losing the romantic element..! I am still struggling to find a safe writing style for myself.. And I'm also from India.. Hence English isn't my first language and sometimes I wonder whether my vocabulary is inadequete... Kristen I am such a huge fan of you and your books. I am in love with your Colorado Mountain series and my question to you is how many more books will there be? I also have a question about Nina and Max.what gender was there 2nd child? I am pretty sure they never mention it, they just talk about them and there 2 children in all the other books. Unless I missed it and need to re-read it.
