How do you get inspired to write?

Sarah Wynde I always have more ideas than I know what to do with, but sometimes I need to push myself to open up MS Word and stare at a blank file for a while. The longer I can hold out without running away from the empty screen, the more likely I am to actually start writing. If I'm really stuck, I have to take my dogs for a walk.
