Tara Chevrestt asked Dan Ames:

I'm really enjoying To Find a Mountain. I came to your profile to see what other books you've penned. I was surprised that you don't seem to write many historicals. I found a western, but the rest are mystery/suspense. ? Did you find this style/genre of writing to be a drastic transition? Are you going to write more like this?

Dan Ames Hi Tara - thank you so much for the question! I apologize for the delay. I didn't find the book difficult to write, mainly because I've been to that village in Italy in person, and I was able to speak with a lot of people (some of them family) and I heard their stories firsthand. It was a very enjoyable book to write and yes, I do want to write more. Thanks again!
