You can't make a book series about just a maze. When they get out, they were so many questions to answer which is why there is a sequel. It'll have all of the answers and then some.
Zoe
Omg the ending was so sad. Chuck...
*Silently cries in the corner...
Yes you should read the rest.

The ending book is so awesome! My friend is reading it now and I am giving spoilers all the time about how awesome I feel about it. I really encourage reading the best. Trust me, it is sooo worth it!
Joshua Reece
You're more insane than the Cranks if you decide to not finish the series based off of the ending of Book 1.
Purple Racoon
Darling!! JUST BLOODY DO IT!!!
There are lots of questions left unanswered in the first book and the rest of the series is full of twists and turns.
ZOMBIES DARLING!!! ZOMBIES!!!!
They are all fast paced and fun. I'm currently rereading Scorch Trials to prepare myself for the movie and you should do it as well.
Good luck and good reading!!!

Yes read them! I'm only in 4 grade and I've read all of the books including the prequel (the prequel isn't that good though,it is only about how the flare started.) I told my friend to read it and he loved it. SO READ THE REST OF THE SERIES
Austin Evans
Yes. Keep reading. You will get answers to questions you have and even more questions while reading. Its a good trilogy that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I'm currently reading the kill order ( the prequel) hoping to finally get some qestions answered
Lina
The following books are just AWESOME!!!
I LOVED the second book! Of course you need to read the rest of the series, that's not even a question!

I think Dashner had planned the sequels and prequels from the very beginning.
This Series doesn't work if you just read the first book and not the rest
= Because the maze runner is only the beginning!
And I know for a fact that people who are used to reading one book are not used to how a SERIES operates.
THIS IS NOT ROMEO & JULIET OR MATILDA!

The rest if the series have small connections to the book and have a new twist. The rest are great and I would seriously consider reading the rest of the series.
Gavins
I encourage reading the series. I'm on the third book, and I don't regret using my time to read it!
Eve
The rest of the series explain why the book ends like that, its an amzing series
Snidhy
I loved the part where Thomas went to the maze to try and save Alby. It was so thrilling. But I was expecting the ending to be more suspenseful.
Kuleana
Yes! The story goes on after they EXIT the maze. It was said in the end of the first book; blah blah blah, the worlds all screwed up, blah blah blah, the flare and things......
Sasasa
READ THEMMM!!!! sorry, but they're so ood. after the maze, so many more things happened, possibly some worse than the maze.
Abdulrahman Mohamed
If you hated the ending I would emcourage you to read th enxt books
Amisha
OK OK OK THIS SITUATION DESERVES CAPS! I ALSO HATED THE END BUT IF YOU DONT READ THE OTHER BOOKS THEN YOU WONT GET THE ANSWERS ON HOW AND THERE IS A LIL BIT OF A TWIST IN THE SECOND AND THE FIRST ONES END IS EXPLAINED LATER. READ THE RESTTTTTT. sorry if that sounded a lil Savage but it is a valid point in my opinion.
Cooldude
The 2nd book is worse book 3rd book is amazing. Keep reading, there's a reason why they do what they do
camiii
Pleaso do so, it only gets better. I know you think that's unlikely, but trust me it's great.
Zainab
you should . they are amazing and you are in for a HUGE surprise in The Death Cure
Pranav
Yes, the ending was a bit disappointing and the other books in the series aren't about the maze even though they are still called, "The Maze Runner". But, reading the other books will help you understand the meaning behind the maze and why the Gladers were trapped in the maze in the first place.
Ria
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY READ THE OTHER BOOKS!!! I started reading Maze Runner because of the some English thing in my school. But the first book got me into it. When I started reading the second book, I couldn't keep it down. And in the third book my eyes were glued!!! I don't think you would be interested in reading the forth book(different characters and story line). You should read the fifth book tho(it's about the start of maze runner) and it explains a lot.
Juan Pablo
Please read the other books to , it gets more wako and almost scary and even being scify books some of the characters make you laught but also love them and carring about them . It will make you have a nice time if you give them an oportunity.
Ps.the secuels put elements together like you would't imagine and also you will hate the movies if you watch them after reading the books .

Ayden Richardson
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!? OF COURSE READ THE SERIES!!!
Kadyona
definitely recommend reading the second book. To be honest, you can't really make a series of books thats just in one place. I think that that would have been really drawn out and boring. And whence you read the scorch trials, it will make sense and, yea.
Ravi
You should It is absolutely amazing. Once you read the next book you will understand why that happened.
Sasha Horton
if you actually read this one (all of it) you should understand the rest of the books...... :D
Thomas Moody
Please read the rest. I can QUOTE this series! It's so good! Although the first book is my favorite, the next two contain what happens AFTER. The other two contain HOW THE MAZE WAS BUILT, and WHO HELPED. Please just try it!
Cameron Durant
I didn't like the end much either, but I'm pretty sure the ending's like that because it's just the beginning of the series. so I'm still going to read the rest of them.
iGPLTV
Agreed 100%!!!!!!
Brian Jr
Yes it all get's tied up in the end
Mason
please read it its awsome
Evan
best book series that I ever read... read every single one.. is there gonna be one after the fever code?
David
Trust me read the other books.
Jacob
Yes. The other books all explain why the Maze was created and what happened to the world.
Henry Parker
Yes, I think the other books are worth reading.
Kathi
You must! Not to spoil anything but if you read the other books you will realize that all the books connect to each other. The author purposely added the ending because he wants you to read on.
Summer
I'm not really a fan of the ending of The Maze Runner either. But also the second book is really good, but if you don't like the ending of The Maze Runner then I don't really think you'll like the ending of the third book. Plus the ending of the third book isn't satisfying enough.
