Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Well, I wanted to write this book even while I was writing No Silent Night: The Christmas Battle for Bastogne with Don Cygan. I always thought this story had two parts. No Silent Night was the first part, which was the story of the 101st Airborne Division's storied defense of Bastogne while Patton at the Battle of the Bulge was the story of the relief of the 101st Airborne. Namely, it's about the 4th Armored Division, which led the way for Patton's 3rd Army.
