There is one paragraph, t…moreYou have probably already read the book by now and know, but I am putting this here for people who might want to know later. There is one paragraph, thankfully just the one, where they first sleep together that started off very descriptive, and so I skipped the entire paragraph. So I admit I don't know how far it went, so a little caution there, and it is mentioned a few more times, just without detail. There is also a violent accident that happens. It's not so much the accident itself but the aftermath, the condition he is in that might be a bit much for children. There is also a lot of difficult concepts in the book, including abuse, miscarriage, murder and betrayal, among other painful topics. I'm not saying these things should never be spoken of to children, rather, it should be approached with care. Perhaps being there to discuss with your child what they are reading, answering questions, helping them to understand and cope with the knowledge, etc. There is no foul language that I can remember.(less)
