Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Victoria Sue I was actually adopted myself as a baby and have always been aware that other kids weren't as lucky as me.
I love shifter books, and I got to thinking - who would adopt them? "In a world where human children are often thrown away daily, how much harder is it for those that can turn into animals?"
