How did you go about finding people to review your first novel when it was published? At the age of 80, I'm about to publish my first novel and would like to have not only those who know me but some who will be more objective to review it. This is all new to me and I'm learning as I go. Thanks for your time.

My first book was with a major publisher and they sent out review copies to all the newspapers etc. If you are punishing this yourself it's tricky. At least you can approach your local paper with the slant 'local woman publishes first book at 80." That might attract attention.

Thanks for your speedy response! I was hoping Emily would marry Justin, & they'd be successful with farm, family, & friends...I guess that's just too simple, eh? Emily is such a wonderful young woman, I was rooting for her all the way. Thank you for a really heartwarming story.
