I have just finished your second book and I love it as much as your first. I do have a question about the third book you mentioned in the letter at the end of the second book. Aside from waiting for it to come out (and I am sure it will well be worth the wait) can you give any hints about the direction this one will go? Old Manor House, a boat and next....?

Stuart Turton I'm not saying a word! I want every book to be as surprising and fun as it can be, so no spoilers for me. I don't even want people knowing what genre they're getting.

Hey Stuart, I really enjoyed your book, one of the best ive read in recent years. After finishing the book, i am still wondering why Evelyn left the boy in the cave all those years ago. what was her thinking other than the fact that she could get away with it? Im afraid i missed something, but i cant come up with a reason for why she would just leave him for dead. again, thank you for writing a fantastic book.

Sorry I'm asking so many questions! I don't have anyone else to talk to about this book[except the author himself of course haha.]When I finished it, I was immediately reminded of Crooked House by Agatha Christie. Based on your speech at the end of your book, I'm assuming you know the ending. I noticed Evelyn's personality and the little sister from Crooked house are very similar! I wonder if you feel the same?
