Doug asked S.J. Saunders:

I found your Future's Birth series after it being posted in an unusual place VERY recently, & I think it's a great idea, as I've spent more money I've found on books there than anywhere else over the last 5 years... 2 questions: 1) Do you plan on doing more releases that way? 2) Do you enjoy narrating your own books? The series is now at the top of my TBR list because of the release method. I'll review honestly.

S.J. Saunders Thanks for the feedback! It's often hard to tell the response to such things with any clarity.

1) I'm absolutely open to releasing more books in that and similar unconventional ways (after an appropriate release window for patrons and such), but the catch for previously released books lies in shared rights. Producers of past audiobooks would have to sign off on such things.

2) This means that I enjoy narrating my own audiobooks for a couple of reasons. First, it's fun. I've always enjoyed trying out different voices, and, between producing my audiobooks and game mastering different tabletop RPGs, I'm living the dream on that front. Second, if I make everything myself (or pay for the work up front, as I did with Nest of Intrigue), I own everything free and clear. I can do whatever I want with those books. And what I want is for more people to have a chance to find them. Unfortunately, I have no professional performance education, but I hope that I've at least improved as I've gone along. Isle of Storms especially is a bit rough...

Thanks in advance for the reviews, and I hope you find some enjoyment in my weird stories!
