What is the meaning of "go know"? It appears more than once and I've never heard that phrase before.

Alyssa I believe it's from the Yiddish expression "gay vays" (‘go know.’) My feeling is that is similar to "Go figure." (Sadly, I haven't heard Yiddish since I left the East Coast in 1988...) Any Yiddish speakers out there to back me up or correct me?
