What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Nicola Graham I can hardly answer this question as I can not even begin to consider myself a writer. However, so far from the experience of a "normal person" who has written a book, the best thing so far is when someone I do not know tells me love my book. They are not obligated by friendship or blood to pretend they like the story, they genuinely got wrapped up in the world I created. Now that is an amazing feeling!
