Hello! Thanks for all the good reads over the years. My question is: Are we getting an Ell Donsaii #17 any time soon? I've read all yours books and that is by far my favorite series. I'd just like to know if I should keep checking every few days or put it out of my mind.

Bradley,
I tend to write what I'm excited about and right now I'm excited about the possibilities of the Stasis universe - so I'm writing about it. I can fuzzily visualize several more books about it (I don't try to plan these things out) so I expect I'll be writing about it for a while yet.
Once I run low on stasis ideas, I'll write whatever I'm excited about then. Though I too love Ell Donsaii and enjoy writing those stories, I think the worst thing I could do to her is to force myself to write something about her when I wasn't inspired. I think other writers have done that to their series, to my disappointment. I too hope that I'll be inspired to write more about her, but you definitely shouldn't check every few days.

A chronological problem in Terraform? (Great book by the way). The book states Stockton is a lame duck president and the candidates for the upcoming election have been selected. But the journalist investigating Donsaii states Donsaii was made persona non grata by President Stockton between 3.5 and 6.5 years ago. So during Terraform Stockton has only served 6.5 years not the 7.5 years required to be lameduck.

Hello, Dr. Dahners, I have read all the ED, Vaz, Stasis, and Proton books. I started Hyllis and Bonesetter series. I realize you are writing according to current interests and inspiration, I just wanted to put in my two cents for more of all four of the series I have finished. I find your style and obvious care for your characters, their humanity and the use of science what-if very satisfying! More proton, Ed, etc!?
