Random question but what do weddings on Fennbirn tend to entail. In terms of the vows, colours of the brides dress etc. Do they have any special rituals?

I am so glad you asked. Weddings differ from region to region, ie from gift to gift. The naturalists love an outdoor party, and expect flowers and fruit, down home cooking and lots of it. Brides and grooms wear what they want but floral crowns are common.
Poisoners are fancy as hell, bride and groom attire is fashion-forward and bonus points if it’s also uncomfortable to the point of pain. The food is A+ and catered and SO good if you can eat it without dying.
Elementals also appreciate the outdoor wedding, and decorate with a lot of streamers and ribbons, things they can whip up in the wind. They also enjoy a good wine whirlpool, or a champagne fountain. The bride and groom will dress according to the affinity of their gifts. Bree Westwood for example, would have worn something that looked like fire, had she ever deigned to marry.
When it comes to the war-gifted, it’s all pomp. Jeweled daggers, swords with gold hilts. The weaponry is the star of the show. Brides like to show off their height, or their biceps. Food is meat, roasted on spits. And the reception is wall-to-wall competition: archery, wrestling. You’re not married in Bastian City until someone gets a black eye.
And finally the oracles. Weddings of the sight-gifted can be a somber affair, depending on what kinds of visions the guests are having. Congratulations! You’re going to die of fever in two years! But, if the portents are good, wedding parties are sweet, and humble. The bride and groom drink nothing but clear water, but the preferred cake is citrus, if the season is right, or berry. So, yummy. But if you go, bring something soft to sit on: oracle ceremonies can get a bit long, as there are lots of pauses and waiting for omens.
So, which wedding would you want to be invited to?
