It's a nervous energy. I spent all of my life wanting to write, but doing precious little of it, filled with worry and general angst. Then I discovered that I could channel all of that nervous thought energy, use it for something constructive.
Now I just wait for that (it happens daily, and it chases me around if I try to ignore it), and then I sit, and I write.
