B. Groos
B. Groos asked Elizabeth George:

Dear Mrs George, I really do like your Lynley novels and am especially fond of the character Barbara Havers. My question: BarbaraHavers is described with a chipped front tooth - when and how did she get that?I think I remember darkly that she got in a fight with someone who tried to escape..Could you please tell me if I am right and which book it is in?Thank you very much! Sincerely, Bettina Groos

Elizabeth George Barbara got into a fight with the killer in In the Presence of the Enemy. During the fight part of one of her front teeth was damaged. A few books later, she had it repaired. So right now, her teeth are back to normal.
