Have read the Neal and Merry back-to-back and I have really enjoyed these books so far. They get better and better with each book. The characters are believable. I do hope there are more to follow?

Thank you for the feedback. It's lovely to hear when someone has enjoyed reading my books.

I've taken a rest from Merry & Neal to concentrate on a new series set in Lincoln. It features two chalk and cheese protagonists, SPC Bell and DI Steph Warwick. The first book in this series, Murder Among Friends was published in November 2020 by Joffe Books. I'm hoping the second in the series will be published later this year.

To answer your question, yes, I do hope to return to Merry & Neal as I'm missing their company!

Hi Janice, I've really enjoyed reading about Merry and Neal BUT, having spent most of my working life in Lincolnshire I find that all the indications are that the stories are based on Lincoln why call it Stromford in Stromfordshire? This spoils the story line for me, both Helen Durrant and Joy Ellis base their stories on areas I can relate to and that makes their stories more realistic to me. Cheers, Ken Smith
