Barbara Andrade I think it could have been a random child that found its way there (since there is the belief that children are more spiritual and open minded than adults) but the book never explains who that was.
Z its never explained but Raphael does mention that Ketterly may have groomed others to work for him in the labyrinth. My personal theory is that it was one of his two daughters.
