Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Frederick Weisel My inspiration came from reading the Martin Beck mystery series by the Swedish wife and husband team of Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo. The ten novels in that series tell the stories of a team of police detectives investigating crimes in several Swedish cities in the 1960s and 1970s. I liked the interaction of the team members, with different personalities and skills. I invented my own team of diverse detectives.
