Hello dear Josh Lanyon! Do you know what would Adrien's and Kit's all time favorite books be? One of my favorite things is to read books that the characters in the books are reading:D (I'm showing a great restrain with this question because originally I wanted to include 5 more of your characters)

Hey Tenebrism, you do ask great questions. ;-)
Kit would have an extensive background and affection for traditional cozy/amateur sleuth mysteries by authors like Christie, Erskine, MacLeod, Heyer--in particular he would know and love all the spinster sleuths--Miss Silver, Miss Seeton, Miss Marple and onwards. He would also have favorites in modern mainstream cozies like Katherine Hall Page, MC Beaton, Mary Daheim. Because he's a literary snob, he would have no familiarity with any cozy writers in Kindle Unlimited. :-D
Adrien would have read every gay mystery ever written. It's possible he'd have passing familiarity with every mystery ever written. :-D The Charioteer would have special significance for him. His personal taste would run to witty, clever mysteries, but he would take a tolerant view of pretty much everything. He would naturally prefer print over digital or audio.

Josh Lanyon:
Hi Josh. I've been waiting (rather patiently, I might say) for at least book 6 of your Secrets & Scrabble series to come out in audio before In start listening. I see now (Jan 15, 2023) that Book 7, Death at the Deep Dive, is available at Audible but Book 6, Lament at Loon Landing, is not. When can I expect Book 6's audiobook? Thanks, and a fruitful new year to you.

How deep do you get into any one set of characters while you are writing? I guess I am asking do you find it easier to concentrate on one story and set of characters for an extended time, a few days or weeks? Or do you find yourself shifting between books and series as a way of keeping your mind open and avoiding blocks?
