(view spoiler)[As a follow-up to my magical construct question. Why is it all the characters that have experienced an option so far have a universal opinion on the matter when as far as I can tell from the world setting summoning and disposing of such entities are commonplace. Is there some kind of social movement that can attribute to all these characters with different backgrounds and experience coming to the same conclusions? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I don't agree with your premise for your question.
I'm going to be a bit vague because I'm not sure which books you've read.
Lydia in the War of Broken Mirrors, for example, treats Vendria considerably differently than Keras or Corin would.
Of the main perspective characters, Keras is the friendliest with magical constructs and the most conscious of their needs and desires. The reasons for this should be much more evident for people who have read the War of Broken Mirrors and are familiar with his background.
Corin's perspective on the matter is largely shaped by his interactions with Vanniv.
As for organizations and social movements, Summoners and Soulblades are given ethics training in their classes. Beyond that, there's a group involved with this in AA3, but I'm not going to say more about that because a lot of people haven't read it yet. (hide spoiler)]

Since spells are just actions and techniques that they are able do accomplish using as little mana as possible, and we've already seen Corin using mana crystals for combat, why doesn't he just create a bunch of crystals and then launch them using transference mana for a rudimentary"crystal storm" spell? Just an idea I got when reading "On The Shoulders Of Titans" after the fight with Saffron.
